Gamescom is in full swing, with EA’s conference just now concluding. We’ve got some cool stuff to talk about, but the day begins with Battlefield. EA announced during its conference that an all-new version of Battlefield 3 would be hitting shelves on September 11, titled Battlefield 3: Premium Edition.
Battlefield 3: Premium Edition comes with all the stuff that the original Battlefield 3 came with, along with these special bonuses:
- Battlefield 3 Premium Membership
- Head-Start Kit: Weapon, gadget and vehicle upgrades
- All existing and upcoming DLC content (Premium perk)
Battlefield 3: Premium Edition is currently priced at $69.99, making it a very solid deal for anyone that hasn’t already purchased the game. Basically, it runs about 50% less than buying the game new, then purchasing Premium as an add-on.
