Game Informer Tracks the Canceled Games of a Generation |

Not every game can be a winner. It’s not just feasible for a studio or company to hit a home run every time they release a game. Hell, even Rockstar is floundering right now. Over the course of a system and studio’s lifetime, some projects inevitably are bumped back or canceled. It’s just a fact of the industry.
Anyway, GI has a pretty cool feature going on at the moment, where the publication is attempting to list every canceled game of this particular generation. The list is comprised of every known game planned for the Wii, Xbox 360 or PS3 that never actually made release. Some have been officially canceled, some have not.
Here’s a sampling:

- Brutal Legend 2
- Gears of War: Exile
- Gun Loco
- Heavenly Sword 2
- Star Wars: Battlefront 3
- Halo: Chronicles
