Freddy Krueger is the next Mortal Kombat brawler

Just when you thought it couldn't get any better, NeatherRealm Studios and Warner Bros. revealed today the fourth and final downloadable warrior for Mortal Kombat.

Yes folks, you heard it right. The Nightmare on Elm Street antagonist himself, Freddy Krueger, will be the next downloadable character for the game. To accompany the announcement, a new has been released, showing off the newest combatant and all his moves.

Freddy joins the already released downloadable fighters Skarlet, Kenshi and Rain. Just like all the previous three warriors, Freddy Krueger will have his own unique move set, story ending and brutal fatalities. The DLC will set you back 400 Microsoft Points and US$ 4.99 on the PlayStation Network. Xbox Live users who purchased the Mortal Kombat Season Pass will get the DLC for no additional charge.

Freddy Krueger? Honestly?

The most retarded thing I've ever seen.

I'm not downloading the kompatibility pack because it downloads his information. If I ever play anyone as Freddy, I am absolutely going to sell my PS3 and MK game. Just gonna flat out unplug it and throw it into a bin as soon as it says, "Freddy!"

There are 100 other MK characters that they could have chosen. There are over 100,000,00 other guest characters that they could have chosen. Honestly, he is the lowest of the low. The lamest of the lame.
Fuck's sake... Have you seen his fatality? He makes a lame-ass furnace come out of the ground. How fucking retarded. Could he ever shoot anything out of his fingers in the film?? It doesn't even look like him. Gahhh. Krueger knows NO karate. He knows NO fighting skills at all. He kills average people with knives on his hand. He kills teenagers. That's likes having Chuckie in it! Chuckie kills people and is immortal, too. I think Chuckie is the only other character that would be worse than Freddy. WB shows Yu-Gi-Oh on television. They could have put in Yugi Moto and I would have been happier. They could have put in Buggs Bunny and I would have been happier.

the reason why the other MK characters have not been added is because they are pieces of crap... i never thought i would see someone bitch so much over a character like you. really, why do you even care?
this game is for people over 20, that's why they added freddy, because he's a popular character from the 80s-90s. it brings some nostalgia back, and besides freddy kicks ass...

Terrordrome, look it up! That version of Freddy looked good, this one sucks! Terrordrome had all the great horror icons, Jason, Freddy, Chucky, Leatherface, Ash, Candyman, Ghostface (Scream). To bad greedy companies forced those guys to pull the plug on an awesome FREE game.
