Mass Effect 3 has been renowned in the past for having some astounding voice acting and talent from classic video game voice talent all the way up to Hollywood A-listers and it looks like Freddie Prinze Junior will be joining the cast as someone very close to Shephard.
I was originally going to slew out this article with a very large portion of 90's jokes. Having grown up in the era and now reliving what is essentially the afterbirth of said decade, I feel like this may be the only appropriate time to use all the jokes I thought up when I was 7 and use as stand-up material. I mean what's the deal with Metapod. Anyway, the guy who was with Sarah Michelle Gellar for a short time and then played Freddy in the Scooby Doo movies is now in Mass Effect 3.
Mass Effect 3 is shaping up to be- Oh you want to know who he plays? Okay, well he's going to be Shephard's right hand man, James Vega. A military man with what may be a social disorder as Prinze speaks only briefly about his character in the below featurette. But he does describe him as someone who "you just want to be evil" or just sometimes "you want to punch somebody." So he's either a douchebag or really really annoying.
With a voice cast with the likes of Seth Green, Martin Sheen, Claudia Black and Jennifer Hale just to name very, very few, the final reveal will be on March 6th and will be one to behold when the new game is released and we can hear all the actors worldly delights.
