Former NBA Stars Headed to NBA 2K13 |

Fans of the NBA 2K series from 2K Sports got some good news recently. Not only is NBA 2K13 set to hit shelves on October 2 for the PC, PlayStation 3, Xbox 360, Wii, and PSP, but it will feature some playable NBA legends that should create some interesting matchups.

One former NBA star who was missing from the lineup was Scottie Pippen. Michael Jordan’s ex-sidekick didn’t want to allow 2K13 developers to use his likeness in the game, making him the only member of the original Dream Team from the 1992 Olympics to not be included. After a bunch of tweets from his Twitter followers finally convinced him to give in, Pippen will now be part of the Dream Team roster in NBA 2K13.
Other playable legends worth mentioning for NBA 2K13 are Shaquille O’neal (Orlando Magic), Alonzo Mourning (Charlotte Hornets), and Allen Iverson (Philadelphia 76ers). You’ll also get the chance to use classic NBA teams, such as the great Chicago Bulls teams from Jordan’s days.
Are there any classic teams or players that you hope make the NBA 2K13 cut? Sound off!
