With just a single slogan claiming that "a storm gathers," we at least now have some official conformation that XIII-3 will be in our hands in due time. So what is the link for this supposed teaser site and what can I find once I get there?
Once you proceed to the site, you will be able to get your own view of the content that has got Final Fantasy fans everywhere abuzz. Obviously since this is just a teaser there isn't much to be found here other than the slogan I mentioned above, but there are a few things we can now officially conform with this small amount of official data. To quote the page:
"Key members of the FINAL FANTASY XIII development team including the Producer, Director and Art Director, are in preparations to present new information about the direction of Lightning's story."
When will this day come you ask? Well, pretty much the day that everyone has been guessing. On September 1st Square is holding a special event to commemorate the 25th anniversary of the Final Fantasy franchise, and this tease makes it extremely clear through massive text that we should expect to see something on that date. Are you excited about the continuation of the XIII story? Well you just got the first totally official word!

I'd suggest you don't. The whole premise of 'FF #-2' sequels is shaky to begin with, but choosing one of the worst games in the franchise to take into '#-3' territory is beyond a joke.

Why? Because since it already has been known as being bad, it might give them room to see what's wrong with it and improve on things so that when XV comes out they'll know what and what not to add, change, remove, etc. from experience with XIII.
That way, they can minimize the amount of bad games in their numbered(main) series.
...then again, they could be doing this to spite fans of the series.

But once I actually invest time into it and play beyond 3 hours, I really enjoyed the game. I love the new concepts in combat and I find the story to being decent. Graphic is the best you will ever see in FF franchise.
I know people are entitled to their own opinions so I'm not bashing here, but really don't get all the hates. And for the record, my favorite FF of all time is FF 4 (FF 2 in US).
