Whenever the name Final Fantasy is mentioned on this site, gamers are sure to make a small crawl towards an insane reaction. Today's news is absolutely no exception. For those of your that have what is known as a DEX firmware PS3, you'll now be able to get the Final Fantasy XIII experience that you have always dreamed of. Talk about being set up perfectly for the next yet to be released game in the series. If you're looking to get ahold of the fixed files that will work with your modded system, the full article will show you both where to get it and how to install it.

Being as popular as it is, XIII-2 has been a game that has long been on the hack list for those that like to get the most out of their Sony console. Thanks to the geniuses over at N0DRM, we can now confirm that provided you have the right version firmware installed you'll be able to get the title up and running on a developer configuration. However, in this instance we're not just talking the game itself, because we mean every last bit of DLC too. That means getting the full story should now no longer be an issue regardless if your PS3 is hacked or not.
You'll notice however that I haven't mentioned anything about retail or regular CFW PS3s, and that's because the unfortunate reality is the fix does not work on those setups for now. However, N0DRM claims that they are hard at work on a solution that will truly be able to make all sectors of the scene happy. If you're lucky enough to have a DEX, the installation is actually quite simple according to PSX Scene.
Installation Instructions
Install 1.06 update
Install DLC links from PSN
Install DLC Fix for your GAMEID - Enjoy
Requires DEX 3.70 minimum - CFW 1.06 Fixed Update coming soon
Looks like all you developer fans are going to be clearing your calendars in the very near future.
