Fez to Go Multiplatform |
Listed in: News Tags: fez, phil fish, polytron
Fez, the little indie game that could, danced on the vaporware precipice for what felt like years. But the game finally saw release on XBLA, and despite some niggling issues with save corruption was well received by critics and the community. But hey, wouldn’t it make more sense for such a high-profile indie game to launch on more than one platform?
Phil Fish says, “Yes.”

More specifically, he says, “Yes, I’ve heard you, dozens of people emailing me every day telling me how much of an idiot I am for not porting Fez to everything.” Fish confirmed that he’s working on Fez for “other platforms,” but there aren’t any specifics available as to which. Most likely we’ll see a PSN and Steam release, but wouldn’t Fez be totally rad on the 3DS? It seems perfectly suited for it.
Just sayin’.

Have you seen Indie Game: The Movie? It was totally Fish's Idea for the scene in the pool. Poor him, his life is so hard, how can none appreciate his genius?
That being said, I still totally want to play Fez on any one of my acquired platforms.
