The new Far Cry 3 trailer wasn't supposed to be out until tomorrow, but as usual somebody jumped the gun and it got out. A trailer leaked...it's the end of the world as we know it!
While the trailer has been taken down and replaced with a teaser in most places, it's still out there if you dig a bit.
One big thing that comes out of this leak is that we now have a release date for the game: September 6th. Well, if you live in Germany that is. People are speculating that the previous Tuesday, September 4th, will be the release date for the US.
The trailer looks pretty good. It starts out with that handheld/shaky cam thing showing two guys and a girl getting drunk and screwing around on a tropical island. Pretty soon you get the feeling that this isn't going to end well. And of course it doesn't.
I guess the difference in this game, versus movies like Touristas or Hostel (which is what the trailer kinda reminded me of), is that one of the "victims" is some kind of bad ass.

MGS 2, E3 2000. THAT's how a trailer is done. Story foundations laid out, new gameplay mechanics laid out, all real time graphics, character reveals, gameplay and great music.
Sorry, Ubisoft, you disappoint me.

haters gonna hate. You worried that the game won't look good or something? E3 is coming too you know, just because this Trailer didn't show anything new and was mostly cgi (if not all) doesn't mean they have nothing left to show yanno.
