As if dealing with all the crazy native folk on the Rook Islands wasn't enough in Far Cry 3, you'll also have a whole bevy of wildlife to deal with as well. In the new vid put out for the game, entitled The Island Survival Guide Part 1, we learn that the Rook Islands are chock full of all kinds of exotic wildlife, much of which will of course try to kill you. Seems strange there would be so many large animals on a tiny island in which humans live, but hey it's a video game.

In addition to all the critters, you'll of course have to deal with the native people, who the narrator called "friendlies," but they hardly seem all that friendly. You'll probably be killing quite a few of them while dealing with all the other hazards on the island.

The blurb for the game reads, "Join John Huntley, an ex-CIA operative, for an insider's tour of the insanity of Far Cry 3. Discover the island's history and travel around an exotic world meeting its mysterious and deadly residents." Sounds about right.
