Everybody Already Hates This Unreleased Game, and This Ain't Making it Any Better |

Konami and Platinum Games have put out a teaser video to promote some kind of Metal Gear Rising: Revengeance reveal next week on the 30th. It's entirely live action, pixelated to hell and back, and cheesy as balls. It look like something out of the Sega Genesis era in which developers were putting live action cut scenes in games. Remember the goofy live action stuff at the beginning of the first Resident Evil? Yeah.
Anyway, it's hard to tell what's going on here. Evil scientists experimenting on soldiers, some guy with a buck knife to his throat, a link to a site with a countdown clock...eh, I guess we'll find out what it's all about on Monday.
And that scream at the end is hilarious.

I mean this is not a snake game but one built specifically raiden so i for one am looking forward to it. Never really liked raiden in sons of liberty but he was awesome guns of the patriot, cept for his emo personality.
Well only time will tell how this game turns out, but if people are bashing it before it comes out, then that'll make it even harder for people to like it

How can Konami and co let this happen?
The MGS series has some videogame defining trailers over the years, but this is 'another page to bad videgame trailers' dark history'.

Why don't you actually read what I wrote to judge it?
I quite clearly said videogame trailers.

I am sure this must be a fake trailer.
It must be.

Nice video from IptecVideo. Nothing says news like unverified sources.

Hideo's tried to walk away from the series several times with varying success, and I'm sure he's glad someone has at least taken the reigns so he can focus on something else/new until people come begging again for a new installment to the series proper.
I mean seriously, it's been heavily advertised as action orientated take on the series, and it's being developed by PLATINUM GAMES (Bayonetta, Vanquish..... ringing any bells?).
If you don't like that style of game then fine, but stop complaining because they're not making the game you want, for the nth time in a row.
