The European Playstation Network will be offline today for eleven hours for a "scheduled maintenance," SCEE has confirmed.

According to SCEE's post over at the EU PlayStation Blog, the "scheduled maintenance" will go live today from 4.05pm UK time until 03:00am on Thursday, March 10, 2011.
During the downtime, you will be unable to access the following services:
- PlayStation Store on PS3 and PSP.
- PlayStation Network Account Management.
- PlayStation Network Account Registration.
In addition, you will not be able to sign in to PlayStation Network from eu.playstation.com. Sony adds that if you want to play online during that time, make sure you sign in to PSN before 4:05pm on Wednesday 9 March 2011. You can also continue collecting all the in-game trophies of your favorite title "and these will be updated on your profile once PlayStation Network is back up and running," says Sony.
Sony has yet to reveal on what the maintenance is specifically, and it looks like this is only for Europe.
