Well, we all saw this one coming Eurocom laid off 150 staff members last month after 007 Legends failed to perform, among other things. Now their remaining 42 staff members have been made redundant and the recently James Bond-centric studio is closed.

Eurocom's statement reads, "Today Dean Nelson, from Midlands business advisory firm Smith Cooper, was appointed Administrator of Eurocom Developments Limited, who have been experiencing financial difficulties due to expected contracts being delayed, which has resulted in severe cash flow shortage."

So they're officially in Administration. They also cited the whole "steep decline in the sales of console and PC games" thing again and also blamed the competition of studios located in other countries where they can take advantage of lower costs and subsidies.

So after almost 25 years, Eurocom is dead. How sad.

Sounds like they have excuses; other studios are doing fine.

That sucks! Such is the way with Activision and EA. They don't know how to allow creative juices to flow. I'm kinda sad though Eurocom has been around almost as long as Acclaim has (Acclaim's been closed since 2004 and opened in 1987

I guess. It's not like Activision owned the company.

That's what happens when people are too comfortable just collecting these high paychecks and don't want to work just based on their performance, if you pull up the President's/VP's salaries and company's entertainment expenses I think you can find a lot of were their "severe cash flow storage" has gone to.
