Enslaved sells 700,000 units

It's been a long trek up for the sales of Ninja Theory's Enslaved: Odyssey to the West, but now, the game has finally broken through the 700,000 mark.

The game, largely known to be one of the most underrated games of 2010, has finally moved 730,000 units as of March this year.

Namco Bandai had previously conceded that Enslaved performed way below what they hoped and expected, with an initial target of one million sales.

With a couple more months to go before its anniversary out on the market, who knows, it just might still reach that target, and thus encourage them to make a sequel.

If and when they do, let's just hope it doesn't suffer the same fate as the original. It would be a crying shame to have a critically-acclaimed game put to waste.

This game was a GLITCH city. great story,cool physics and gameplay but the graphics suffered all the time. I wanted it after trying the demo but was not willing to shell out 40$ for hiccup game. So the got more units now probably cause retailers like WALMART had it for 20$ and GAMESTOP for 15$[thus is why i bought it]. Graphics are awful at times,whole screen flickering. I do hope for a sequel though,just please test it more and polish the UNREAL ENGINE.

maybe - hopefully - they can redeem themselves with the sequel, and be able to showcase just how good the storyline really is.

This was an awesome game. It was greatly underrated. I put it near the top of the list for great games of 2010.

I cant remember it having any bugs. I do remember the controls were great and smooth. It looked great and played great.

Lets hope they do make the 1 million sales and do make a sequel.
I've already done my part. I've brought it and tell everyone to get it as its a great game.

The game was terrible, full of bugs rubbish story line boring on rails game play. The graphics were good, but that's the only positive.
We sold it after first completion as it had no replay value!

Must have played it on 360, I played it on PS3 it was fine one time the music cut out on a boss fight thats it i played through 2 times . This game is awesome and i have 0 faith in the gaming community first beyond good and evil now this. Its a shame.

Loved this game, had a great story, awsome graphics and great control scheme. Liked it so much i bought it, traded it in and then bought it again when it was on sale. Never had any issues with bugs on the PS3 system. Here's to pushing for 1,000,000 so they can make a sequel.

Voice acting in this game was amazing. The story was good as well. This game deserves praises. The gameplay on the other hand needs more depth but it wasn't bad at all.

This was one of the worst games I've ever played in my entire life. It doesn't even fit the definition of a game actually. You could beat it while falling asleep. It is also sexist and has a stupid plot.

Since this game just got a massive discount I believe it will evantually reach the 1 million mark. I should know -I just bought it last month because of the discount

Bought mine a few weeks ago, still haven't played it but I did my part, I think Ninja Theory makes really good games, they have really high production values.

Also it was $15 so I couldn't resist.
