Ecco the Dolphin Swimming Back Into Play? |

The creator of Ecco the Dolphin, Ed Annunziata, is dropping hints that a new Ecco game may be in the works. He's been posting things on Twitter, saying that he's "putting the band back together" to work on some sort of Ecco project and that he has already re-enlisted Spencer Nielsen for the soundtrack. The score that Nielsen put together for Ecco was memorable the first time around, so that's a welcome return.
Annunziata also posted a whiteboard sketch of a dolphin leaping over the waves, which isn't much, but it's...something I guess.
Meanwhile, the original Ecco the Dolphin is playable on-disc in the Sega Ultimate Mega Drive Collection if you can't wait to get your hands on some new dolphin adventures.
