EA Trademarks Weird Name |
Listed in: News Tags: ea trademarking, full contact bingo, videogame trademarks
Trademarking is a great indicator of things to come long before they come. Wacky trademarked names are usually the result of parody companies made for fictional worlds, like that in Grand Theft Auto, but this week’s wacky name trademarking comes from none other than giant EA.

The name, ‘Full Contact Bingo’, was trademarked over the weekend, and the terms of the application, according to domain company Fusible, state that it is indeed a videogame.
No other information is available yet, but one can assume it’s possible some motion-controlled family game, possibly for the Wii. I’d put my bets (no pun intended, honest) on it being a Wii game, but there’s still the possibility that the title is a Facebook game or even the name of a DLC for another game.
Keeping a watch out for videogame companies trademarking names is a lot more revealing than you would think, and I’d say to keep on the lookout for some more GTA V related names in the coming weeks (although 99% of them are probably already done).
What do you think Full Contact Bingo will be?
