EA Games accused of score tampering for BF3 |

The game BF3 is out in two days and the game has gotten some considerable press based around how “realistic” it will be and how it may be the Modern Warfare killer, but over in the beautiful country of Norway, there is something afoot. Apparently questionnaire's were sent out to gaming sites, Gamer.No and Gamereactor and a few skewed questions were sent with review copies with some sentences regarding their FPS rival, Mr. Call of Duty.
The sites have both issued statements disregarding any pressure from EA Games, “we have received a preview code”, Gamereactor representative told site Blue, on the weekend, “and have not had any problems with EA. We have had nothing to do with shenanigans.” It's good Norway still uses the word shenanigans. “It seems to be another matter between EA Norway and a major newspaper why dedicated gaming media are mentioned also must be a misunderstanding.”
Gamer.no has come across with a similar statement, “this is not true, EA have never refused to give Gamer.no access to an early review copy and we did not need to answer any leading questions from EA to obtain it either” Gamer.no went on to say there have never been any disagreements between them and EA.
EA could have easily issued a statement on the problem, but it seems that the gaming sites have spoken out for themselves. There have been no other European or American reports coming in regarding the tampering but some people have heard of shifty-like practices between some industry professionals, especially after the Kane and Lynch controversy from a few years ago.

'In response to the controversy, EA Norway Marketing Manager Oliver Sveen issued a statement claiming that the publisher does not have a policy of pre-screening reviewers. "This should not have been sent out," he said. "We have made a mistake and we apologize." '
I can understand DICE and EA hoping to get people familiar with the brand, but some of the questions on the page were a little sketchy.

The story clearly outlines that there were alleged questionnaires sent with copies of BF3 which implies some kind of bias which was added to reviewers. This story was merely about the accusations, nothing more, nothing less.
