Dynasty Warriors: Gundam 3 dated

Tecmo Koei has finally pinned down the release date of Dynasty Warriors: Gundam 3, the latest iteration of the Dynasty Warriors spin-off series based on the Gundam anime universe.

Here's a taste of the action.

Scheduled to arrive in North America on June 28th and then later across Europe on July 1st, Dynasty Warriors: Gundam 3 features over over 50 playable and upgradable characters and over 70 playable and upgradeable Mobile Suits from the Gundam anime and manga series. It also includes a number of gameplay additions to the series, including three brand new featured systems, including the Partner Strike, Emergency Dash and Recovery Gauge Systems, which will "bring a new level of full-out tactical action to the series." Additionally, players can also take their favorite Mobile Suits and team up with others in intense online multiplayer co-op action with up to four players.

Dynasty Warriors: Gundam 3 will be available on the PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360 console.
