Dust 514 is the shooter that is intrinsically tied into the EVE Online universe and it's been in a closed beta for a while now. Today, we look at the vehicles you can cruise around in. Well, really we're just looking at the dev diary that CCP Games put out. It has game designer Ryan Thornton, AKA CCP Blam, in it talking about the various trucks, tanks, and ships.
What they have so far are light attack vehicles (LAVs), tanks, and drop ships. Thornton also says that they're thinking about adding mechs to the mix at some point in the future.
He also says that they'll never be done developing Dust 514 and that it will always be evolving to meet the needs of its players. Hopefully this means they'll get past the lag issues that reportedly trouble the beta.
