Dragon's Dogma Gets an Expansion and New Free Modes |

It was just announced this morning that Dragon's Dogma is getting an expansion called Dark Arisen. There's not been much else revealed about what this expansion will entail, but there is a trailer below. Expect more dragons and, uh, darkness.
The other bit of new about Dragon's Dogma is that it will be getting two new modes. First is Speedrun, a mode that challenges you to complete the game as quickly as possible to earn in-game equipment for accomplishing certain times. The other is Hard Mode, which should satisfy all those folks complaining about how easy the game is. Completing this will earn you more equipment as well. Both modes will be free as part of a title update.
No date is set for the new modes, but Capcom has stated they'll be out before the year is out. The Dark Arisen expansion is set to come shortly thereafter in 2013. What a coincidence!
