Dark Arisen, the huge expansion for Dragon's Dogma, has gotten a firm release date and details for the West. This expansion will take you to Bitterblack Isle, just off the coast of Gransys. If you already have Dragon's Dogma, you'll get 100,000 Rift Stones, unlimited Ferrystones, and the Gransys Armor Pack, which contains six new costumes for free when you download Dark Arisen.
If you don't have the original Dragon's Dogma, you'll be able to purchase the Dark Arisen version on disc, which comes with the game and the expansion. It will also have new skills, new equipment, new augments, new tiers of equipment enhancement, increased customization options, item appraisal, and the option to select a Japanese voice over.
There will also be an intuitive menu makeover that both versions will get.
Dragon's Dogma: Dark Arisen will be out April 23rd in North America and April 26th in Europe. It'll be $39.99.

But really, seems pretty sweet to get the original and expansion for $40.
