DmC: Devil May Cry hasn't gotten the greatest reviews, but hey, it's big in Japan. And yet, despite topping the charts there it still has sold less than half of what Devil May Cry 4 sold in its first week five years ago.
Media Create says in Japan DmC sold 110,429 copies on PS3 and less than 5,500 copies for Xbox 360. Famitsu says it sold 115,438 and 5,957, respectively. Either way, those figures are a far cry from Devil May Cry 4's numbers in its first week: 205,390 on PS3 and 40,023 on Xbox 360.
