Dev Job Postings Reveal Possible Games

Game developers' online job postings are a good way to find out what's up-and-coming in the game industry and there are a lot of guys that prowl the ads not only looking for a job (or not), but also looking for potential nuggets of information. Someone over at GamerZines found something interesting on Creative Assembly, for instance. The developers behind Total War and an upcoming Alien project are looking for programmers to develop "next gen and next next gen consoles."

In other news, Remedy Entertainment, the developers of Alan Wake, are working on a "groundbreaking" AAA project and are looking for someone to work on the AI in the Alan Wake engine, presumably for a new Alan Wake game. This was also discovered by GamerZines.

Finally, Rockstar is hiring as well. Eurogamer discovered that Rockstar North is looking for Environment Artists for a next-gen game. What this next-gen game will be is up in the air. GTA V will probably be this gen, but who knows? Other games to consider are a Bully sequel (which has been hinted at by Dan Houser), a Red Dead sequel, or an entirely new IP.
