It’s been confirmed that the upcoming survival action game The Last of Us will be getting a playable demo.  How can you get your hands on it?  Keep on reading to find out.

Sony announced that we will get a chance to delve into The Last of Us through a demo.  For now, however, it appears as if access will be limited to those who purchase God of War: Ascension, which ships on March 12th in the U.S. and the following two days in Europe and Australia. 

Although you may purchase and have God of War: Ascension in your hands when it releases, that does not guarantee that you will be able to play The Last of Us’ demo immediately.  The demo will be listed on the game’s main menu, but it’s not guaranteed to be ready by the time March 12th rolls around.  Sony has not commented at this on whether or not demo will be made available to those who do not purchase God of War: Ascension either.

The Last of Us will be released on May 7th for the PlayStation 3.
