Def Leppard debuts on Rock Band next week

Get ready to relieve some of the bands iconic tracks right in your living room as the '80s super group lands makes their first appearance in Rock Band 3 next week.

 

 

 

The legendary rockers will add six of its memorable tracks in the Rock Band Music Store startting next this Tuesday. The tracks includes the 1981 classic High ‘n’ Dry (“Bringin’ On the Heartbreak”), 1983’s Pyromania (“Photograph”, “Rock of Ages”) and “Undefeated”, a new single from the bands recent album Mirrorball: Live & More.

“We are thrilled to be a part of this Rock Band 6-pack release. It's almost like releasing a new album. We're psyched to be out on Xbox 360, PlayStation 3 and Wii,” added Phil Collen, guitarist for Def Leppard.

Available on the PS3, Xbox 360 and Wii starting August 9th, these tracks will include:

  • Def Leppard – “Animal (Live)” X
  • Def Leppard – “Bringin’ On the Heartbreak” X
  • Def Leppard – “Photograph” X
  • Def Leppard – “Pour Some Sugar on Me (Live)” X
  • Def Leppard – “Rock of Ages” X
  • Def Leppard – “Undefeated” X

 

All original master recordings, each track will cost US$ 1.99 / 160 MS Points / 200 Wii Points while the  “Def Leppard Pack 01” package will set you back US$ 9.99 on all three platforms. As always, songs marked with an "X" will include Pro Guitar and Pro Bass expansions for US$ 0.99 per song. This week, Harmonix added some new tracks from the Beastie Boys and James Brown to their ever growing downloadable music catalog.

they should have thrown Armageddon It in there too, otherwise a good setlist.

Always up for a change. I remember the old days where they would release the full album, no matter how sh*t some of those songs were.
Still, would prefer a handful of hits than being drowned in one band
