Merc with a mouth Deadpool will be getting the aid of an old ally in the form of cybernetic, time-traveling mutant (that's a mouthful) Cable in his upcoming game. Or in true comic book fashion they could be fighting each other before making up. The two were featured together in the Cable & Deadpool series that ran for 50 issues a few years back, with Cable playing the straight man to Deadpool's insanity, so it will be interesting to see how this game portrays them. 

Death herself will also be featured in the game, as her ongoing interest in Deadpool and his refusal to die has not yet waned.

On top of this announcement, High Moon Studios has put out some new screenshots of the game. They're nothing all that enlightening, but I have to wonder how he'll eat that pizza with the mask on.
