Darkstalkers is coming back in a big way. It was announced at New York Comic Con that Darkstalkers resurrection would be making its way to the PSN and XBL. It will feature Night Warriors: Darkstalkers Revenge and Darkstalkers 3 and have HD smoothing, Trophies/Achievements, challenges, a spectator mode, anti-lag tech, and YouTube sharing. It will be out early next year sometime.
The devs also came with a little teaser video in hand for Darkstalkers 4 entitled "Darkstalkers Are Not Dead." What it basically boils down to is that they want to make Darkstalkers 4, but they're going to gauge the performance of Darkstalkers Resurrection to see if it's viable for them to make a whole new game. So go buy Resurrection when it comes out if you really want a whole new Darkstalkers, I guess.
