Darksiders II Loses an Artist, Gains DLC |
Listed in: News Tags: abyssal forge, darksiders ii, THQ, vigil games
It was announced a couple days ago that comic book legend Joe Madureira has left Vigil Games to go back to comics, which is a bummer. Madureira's run on the X-Men title back in the day was great and he served as the Creative Director for Darksiders II. Madureira tweeted his departure on his Twitter page, stating, "I miss the place already."
But on the bright side (or not-so-bright-side, depending on your world view), Darksiders II is getting some DLC. It's called The Abyssal Forge and has to do with some guy called The Mad Smith who created hellborne weaponry and the like until he was locked away. Unfortunately, he didn't stop working after he was locked away and he now has an army of all the nasty things he's constructed over the centuries. See some pics of it all below.
The Abyssal Forge will be out October 30th for $9.99 (800 MSP in Xbox 360 land).
