Coming to PS+: Assassin’s Creed: Brotherhood, Golden Axe and Guerilla War for free

The US PlayStation blog has revealed the list of new contents that will be available to all PlayStation Plus subscribers in the next two weeks.

This includes the full game trial of Assassin’s Creed: Brotherhood, the SEGA Genesis classic title Golden Axe and a brand new PS mini offering from SNK, Guerrilla War.

They had a whole month to add new content and waited until the welcome back days expired. Epic fail. However for me it doesn't matter as neither group of offers had anything for me. The discounts aren't good enough (a measly dollar here and there), the material is older stuff I already got during an earlier sale, or it's free stuff which you don't keep when the trial expires. PSN+ is such a waste. Thankfully the free part of PSN is great.

You get PS+ for a month, and most people didn't activate it the first day they got it. I waited for a couple of weeks.

Sony will be confirming a new service to run alongside "Plus" next week called "PlayStation Minus". It removes many functions and abilities from your XMB, while making a more simple PS3 experience. $15 for 1-year
