Catherine lip-synching in progress for localized version |
Listed in: News, Games Tags: Atlus, catherine
With Catherine's localization finally confirmed, the next thing that people are interested to know is the process of synchronizin the animation to the voice acting.

Fortunately, we have Michell Ruff, Katherine McBride in the game, to tell us the nitty-gritty details of the process.
"I had to match basic timing on scenees, but my Katherine's mouth was being animated to my performance in some of those scenes," she explained to Siliconera. "in some of them, she was animted already and I had to sync my performance."
Considering that they're taking on even manual-lipsynching shows how serious they really are about this whole localization business.
Catherine was released in Japan late last year, but it's only this summer that it will be docking on North American shores, for both the PS3 and xbox 360.

This will, however, take up quite some space and would be really hard or even impossible on the Xbox360 version, and I'm not sure if the developer will want to do that. (Adding extra's on the PS3 version)

No we're not.
Knowing Atlus they'll remove the JP tracks in favor of the localised stuff.
