Capcom's Working on Their Game-Breaking Glitch |
Listed in: News Tags: Capcom, sf x tk, street fighter x tekken

Last week it was revealed that Street Fighter X Tekken's 1.04 patch wreaked havoc with the game's knives and fireballs, meaning that if one touched the other the game would freeze. Previously, it was thought that it was only Rolento's knives that caused the glitch, but it was discovered by players that the glitch extended to all knives, such as those wielded by Cody and Ibuki.
Street Fighter X Tekken Producer Tomoaki Ayano said, "As many of you are aware, a game-breaking glitch has appeared in Street Fighter X Tekken after the release of the 1.04 update. The development team is currently examining the problem and planning to patch the game as quickly as possible. The patch to fix the glitch should be released by mid-June. We truly apologize for this problem, and hope everyone will be patient until the patch is released."
So to be safe don't use your knives until mid-June I guess.

I tried replicating this glitch but to no avail :C
I'm probably too late though considering it is now 27th of May 2012.
And I do recall having asked an update quite recently too which probably no doubt addressed this issue.
Nevertheless, this is a welcome addition to my personal SF and Tekken Collections
