Call of Duty fans rejoice, or whatever you do when you get happy, probably fire twenty rounds into the ceiling and hope that it doesn't hit your mom in the kitchen. Why be so gun-totingly happy? Because of Call of Duty Elite 2.0 and of course, another Call of Duty is in the works.
We all know from yesterday's story how big a success Activision-Blizzard is and how much of it was thanks to Call of Duty Elite, but that doesn't mean Activision won't stop wanting new players and money to keep making the FPS series. During an earnings call with Activision, they said "we're already hard at work on Elite 2.0, with several innovative features being developed to work hand-in-hand with our new Call of Duty release."
Despite rumours that were flying around when the next CoD was announced, an Elite upgrade was not going to be far away considering how Activision does business, not Blizzard, mind you. For those wondering about the current Elite service, you should probably be re-prioritising your life and also Activision has plans to launch some "new features in the next 60 days" for Elite.
While they didn't go into too much detail or any detail they said they were planning a major upgrade (2.0) and that the service was to go along with the ninth installment in the CoD series, which apparently "already looks fantastic." I'm sure it will be as fantastic as all the DLC that 360 users get before every other platform.
