The new-school of punk meets the English punk pioneers as Blink 182 joins The Clash in next week's edition of the Rock Band 3 update.

A lil' preview of the DLC

A three pack of tracks from the punk trio will headline the update, with “The Party Song,” from the bands 1999’s album Enema of the State, followed by “Stay Together for the Kids” from their 2002 album Take Off Your Pants and Jacket and “Up All Night,” the latest single from their recently released album Neighborhoods. The trio will be backed up with a lone single from the legendary rockers, The Clash.

Available on the PS3, Xbox 360 and Wii starting October 11th, these tracks will include:

  • Blink-182 – “The Party Song”
  • Blink-182 – “Stay Together for the Kids”
  • Blink-182 – “Up All Night” X
  • The Clash – “Rock the Casbah” X

All original master recordings, each track will cost US$ 1.99 / 160 MS Points / 200 Wii Points while the “Blink-182 Pack 03” will set you back US$ 5.49 on all three platforms. As always, songs marked with an "X" will include Pro Guitar and Pro Bass expansions for US$ 0.99 per song. Earlier this week, Harmonix also confirmed a strong lineup of artists that will be lending their track on the upcoming Rock Band 3 updates.
