Bleszinski: Gears of War franchise not heading to PS3

Says he'd like to "bury" this ongoing question from now on.

Cliff Bleszinski of Epic games has burried any lingering hopes that the Gears of War franchise could be finally heading to the PS3. Despite Epic Games President Mike Capps previously stating that he would love to bring the whole Gears experience to Sony's home video game console too.

"I would say in the foreseeable future there's zero chance of Gears of War being on the PlayStation 3," he told IndustryGamers. "Can we bury that now? Seriously. It's like, we have a great deal with Microsoft, they're a great partner..."

When quizzed about Capps' statement, Bleszinski said: "It’s one of those things that would be exciting news. Hopefully DualShock would get tweaked a little bit, but anyway, enough about that."

He also revealed that there's "definitely more Gears coming beyond Gears of War 3," because the latest title is "simply the end of that trilogy," and not the end of the franchise. Gears of War 3 will be released on September 20, 2011.

yea dont do it..for1 i hate ported games as gears would be ported from the 360. 2nd gears devs would fall n luv wit ps3 hardware but guess what ps3 an 360 hardware are years far apart.
they would have 2 port gears from ps3 an that would hurt 360 alil. but n 2 or 3 years 360 an ps3 will have there new consoles will be out so none of this would really matter.
an please ps3 an 360 give us 10 games a year wit a sub cost so ps3 an 360 can play vs like:madden, fight night, 2k etc. call it WE GAME VS or sumthing. have best gamer on console wars, hell call it CONSOLE WARS 360 an ps3 imagine how much both parties an gamers will benefite from it

Weren't 360 and PS3 2 years apart?
You seem to be a fanboy, am I right?
You also are being a troll, correct?

Gears being ported to PS3 would not hurt anything or one except MS. It would hurt MS because it's one of the few exclusive titles MS has.

meh i dont care for gears. i dont like how the game plays what so ever. i wish epic games would get different models for there other ips tho they all look similar XD
