There ain't no stopping the popularity of Black Ops in the United Kingdom, as it overtakes Modern Warfare 2 to become the biggest selling game of all time in the region.

Activision and Treyarch's latest Call Of Duty title has so far sold 3,722,411 copies between its November 9, 2010 release and June 25 of this year, outpacing its COD series predecessor, Infinity Ward's Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2, which currently registers 3,702,410 units since its November 10, 2009 release, according to to GfK ChartTrack.
Activision’s UK managing director Andrew Brown said: "This is an outstanding achievement for the development team at Treyarch and the amazing Call of Duty community."
Black Ops became an instant classic after it hit the US$ 1 billion mark in worldwide sales soon after its release. The third map pack for the game, titled Annihilation, is now available on Xbox Live, with the PS3 and PC versions to follow.
