BioShock Infinite is going to get a couple of special editions - no surprise there. Today Irrational has revealed them and first up is the Ultimate Songbird Edition, which comes with a statue of the Songbird robot-thing from the game. Pictured below, it stands 9.5 inches tall and was visualized by concept artist Robb Waters, he who designed BioShock's Little Sisters, Thief's Trickster, and the cover of System Shock. This Edition will also come with concept art from Mr. Waters and fellow Irrational Games concept artist Jorge Lacera.

In addition to the statue, you'll also get everything in the Premium Edition, which is listed below.

  • A 5x7" lithograph by Jorge Lacera
  • A 3" baby version keychain of the sold out Murder of Crows vigor bottle replica
  • A 25mm resin-cast Handyman miniature from the upcoming BioShock Infinite boardgame by Plaid Hat Games, maker of Summoner Wars
  • A mini art book with hand-distressed cover
  • A digital soundtrack, exclusive in-game gear, and platform-specific DLC (themes on PS3, Avatar items on Xbox 360)

It's all out February 26th, 2013!

I can see what you're saying, but some people just like to collect cool things like this. I do sometimes just for the hell of it.

All the crap that would have to be included otherwise would not be bought. How bout some of that doc your gonna ask us to buy 2 days later because it didn't make the cutoff to be included firsthand but surprisingly is already on the disc. BS

once again, DLC is the way of the future for gaming to keep revenue going, whether it is on the disc or not. No one is forcing you to buy it.

and from past experience, the Bioshock DLC is usually worth the money.
