BioShock Infinite is E3's big winner

As it turns out, BioShock Infinite gave quite the show at this year's E3. 2K Games and Irrational Games' multiplatform collaboration got a whopping 75 awards, with mainstream press E! Online dubbing it "simply gorgeous".

Among the awards it got were 39 "Game of Show" awards, and the top award that can be taken home from the event, The Game Critics Awards. Said Ken Levine, "At this year's E3, members of the Irrational team were honored to see the amazing games our industry friends and colleagues are producing. And we are thrilled that the gaming media selected BioShock Infinite as a standout title for the show."

BioShock Infinite is slated to come out for the PC, PS3 and Xbox 360 next year. It's also been confirmed to include Move support. A PS Vita spin-off has also been confirmed. Needless to say, those 75 awards reaffirm what the devs have been saying all along: that it's so far in terrific shape.
