Behind the Scenes of Lollipop Chainsaw's Soundtrack with Jimmy Urine |
Listed in: News Tags: Grasshopper Manufacture, kadokawa games, lollipop chainsaw

If you've been following the trailers that Grasshopper Manufacture and Kadokawa Games have been putting out for Lollipop Chainsaw, you know that it is looking crazy. It looks like Dead Rising meets Buffy the Vampire Slayer meets an acid trip.
To top it all off, it looks like it will have a decent soundtrack as well. The soundtrack was put together by Jimmy Urine from Mindless Self Indulgence and he calls it "totally fucking crazy" in the vid below. Sound Director Akira Yamaoka, meanwhile, says that he was inspired by the music of the '80s and wanted to include it in the soundtrack and you can definitely see that influence.
The other video below shows off "The Bosses of Zombie Rock," i.e. the bosses in the game. There's Zed the Punk Rock Zombie played by Jimmy Urine, Vikke the Viking Metal Zombie, Josey the Master of Funk, and Mariska the Queen of Psychedelia.
Here's the soundtrack listing, then go on to the videos below.
