Next week, the ever growing Rock Band 3 library will  add a bit of funk, hip hop, souls and classic rock.

Legendary hip-hop icons Beastie Boys will join the "godfather of soul' James Brown, classic rock band Heart, and Rufus featuring Chaka Khan) in next week's edition of Rock Band 3 update.

Available on the PS3, Xbox 360 and Wii starting August 2nd, these tracks will include:

• Beastie Boys – “Make Some Noise”
• Beastie Boys – “No Sleep till Brooklyn”
• Heart – “Barracuda” X
• James Brown– “Super Bad, Pts. 1 & 2” X
• Rufus (ft. Chaka Khan) – “Tell Me Something Good ”

All original master recordings, each track will cost US$ 1.99 / 160 MS Points / 200 Wii Points while the  “Yes Pack 01” package will set you back US$ 8.99. As always, songs marked with an "X" will include Pro Guitar and Pro Bass expansions for US$ 0.99 per song. This week, legendary English progressive band Yes returned to Rock Band with a five-pack of DLC.
