Battlefield of Duty Elite Details Emerge |
Listed in: News Tags: battlefield 3, DICE, EA
We talked briefly last week about rumors regarding some sort of premium service in development for Battlefield 3. As it turns out, there is such a service rolling out soon, but it’s a bit different from our initial sourcing lead us to believe.

Here’s the gist: On June 4, DICE will launch Battlefield Premium. The package, which has no price point as of yet, will come with all five BF3 expansion packs and all available weapons and camo. Basically, any content that’s come out since BF3 launched comes with the pack, as does any content that will come out.
Players that pick up Battlefield Premium will also gain early access to new map packs.
So, Battlefield players, it looks more like Battlefield Premium is a season pass for DLC—not some sort of elite online service. We will, of course, keep you updated as information rolls out.

Also, Naughty Dog did t his with Uncharted 3 and it was quite successful. Only difference is they did it right out of the gate AND before the game dropped.
