Asura's Wrath Demo Out, Here's a Trailer

The demo for Asura's Wrath is available right now on PSN and XBL, and the trailer below really unambiguously hammers that point home.

Asura's Wrath is a Capcom game that puts you in the control one really pissed off deity. He's been betrayed by the rest of the pantheon and stripped of his powers, but thankfully he has his rage and six arms. He's been asleep for 12,000 years and wakes up to a world with sci-fi elements like the enormous spaceship in the trailer and a whole mess of traitorous gods to slay.

Asura's Wrath is a decidedly Japanese game and as such it looks like a ton of fun. From what I've seen so far, it looks like you're immersed in an anime flick and it's way over-the-top in a good way. It's flashy and fast and there probably won't be anything really groundbreaking here, but it's pure excitement - which sounds good to me. I need to play that demo.

Asura's Wrath will be released on February 21st in North America and February 24th in Europe.

I played the demo and it was not what expected from the previous trailers of it.Kind of disappointed i got the impression that it was like God of War fighting but instead they add a lot of button sequence and barely fight at all. This would have made a great hack and slash game if they made it that way.

I forgot to mention that in episode 11 the music doesn't really fit the game's atmosphere during the battle. And the voice acting was kind of terrible like an anime dub.
