Asura's Wrath Delayed in the UK, but Does Anyone Care?

Capcom says they're delaying the release of Asura's Wrath in the UK by two weeks, pushing it back from a February 24th release to a March 9th release. This puts it in direct competition with Mass Effect 3 and Street Fighter X Tekken. Yowza. They haven't said what the delay is about or what they hope to accomplish with it. Probably just some red tape hullabaloo.

I'll admit, I had fairly high expectations for Asura's Wrath. Every once in a while, I like an old-school beat 'em up game like Conan or Devil May Cry. So I tried out the Asura's Wrath demo despite others saying that it was just quick time events. I had to see it for myself. Yes, it looks wonderful, like an insane anime movie. But the boss battles, which made up the whole demo, are entirely made up of QTEs. Apparently, much of the game is the comprised of the same mechanic.

QTEs are one of the many banes of my existence so I quickly deleted it once I was done. What a shame. Maybe developer CyberConnect2 will do better by me next time.

I agree, the game would be a great movie, but a game? Played the demo and the controls were disappointing.

Guess DMC4 would succeed Bayonetta for me.

Stupid new Dante look.

but doesn't seem to play great. I guess the should've made an anime instead of a game... to bad actually, I was hoping this would turn out to be awesome :(

Obviously you've played the game entirely if not shut up. The demo was nothing but boss fight which are QTES not the game as a whole.

I think the word "seem" makes nehebkau's remark entirely valid.
