The Hidden Secrets DLC came out for Assassin's Creed III this week and some players have noticed that after downloading it they find themselves pulled back to the early missions in the game. And because the game autosaves there's no way to recover their previous progress. That's one hell of a hidden secret!

One player said that his 100% story progress was reset to 45% progress, for example, and he pretty much had to start all over again. Some have said that their Naval and Privateer missions have been reset as well. Other side missions have remained unaffected, depending on who you ask.

So for now, needless to say, it's best to hold off on downloading Hidden Secrets if you're playing Assassin's Creed III. Wait till Ubisoft gets this ironed out.
