Army of Two: Devil’s Cartel to be More Fun, Less Fratty |
Listed in: News Tags: army of two, army of two: devils cartel, Visceral Games
In a recent interview with Eurogamer, Army of Two: Devil’s Cartel designer Greg Rizzer had some interesting information on tone shifts to the game’s content. Apparently, Visceral felt that the last couple of entries in the franchise had too much of a “frat boy” tone.

Here’s a quote:
“The previous Army of Two games had a real frat-boy-esque tone to them. We've kind of reeled that in a little bit, but we certainly wanted to still be over-the-top. At the end of the day, games are meant to be fun. Especially in the market today where every shooter is claiming to be the most realistic, one of the things that's starting to slip away is games are meant to be fun.”
“Even if it's a game that's violent in content, we still as gamers need to be able to appreciate a Michael Bay-esque type of experience. And using all this new technology we have, why not?”
So, in summary: The next Army of Two game will be less frat, more Michael Bay. What could go wrong?

I won't be buying this one since they decided to kill off Salem and/or Rios.
Clearly they are basing it loosely(emphasi s on loose, just like Blake Lively IRL) off that ridiculous movie "Savages"
I don't care much for the Voice talent they picked up for this one either... Fratty? more like a commercialized piece of shit.
