Army of Four Announced on Twitter...Sort Of |
Listed in: News Tags: army of four, army of two, Electronic Arts

Army of Four was rumored to be in development last year, and it was thought that it may be using the Frostbite 2.0 engine. Judging by the name it has also been inferred that there will be 4-player co-op, which would of course mean that 2 more mercs would have to be added to the mix alongside Salem and Rios.
That's all well and good, but now we have a voice actor who has tweeted his involvement. Joe Flanigan, who's probably best known as Lt. Col. Sheppard in Stargate Atlantis (and he popped up in Fringe recently), tweeted, "Just signed on to do the new AO4 video game for Electronic Arts. Some splinter from Battlefield. Finally, my kids think I'm cool again."
Of course, after probably being deluged by hundreds of indignant corrections, Flanigan corrected himself, tweeting, "Actually, showing distinctively how uncool I am, I think I have those game mixed up."
The Army of Two games are perennial whipping boys, but they're perfect for playing co-op with a buddy. Anyone else looking forward to this one?
