Armored Core V Coming in March |
Listed in: News Tags: armored core v, From Software, Namco Bandai

If you're a fan of giant mechs shooting and beating the crap out of each other, then you're in luck; Armored Core V is coming out in March. It's been in development at From Software for a while, but there hasn't been a peep out of them for some time.
Now they're talking. From Studio Head Eiichi Nakajima said that Armored Core V "will bring strategic mech combat to new heights" and that it will include "cooperative missions, a persistent online world battling for for territories and epic team battles." Sounds pretty cool.
There's also a new mode called Operator Mode that puts you in the generals chair. Hmmm. Gamestop is also running a promo for Armored Core V in which you get a package called the "Heavy Assault Pack" if you pre-order the game.
I loved Armored Core back in the day but haven't played one in many years - any of you guys playing AC out there? How has it held up?
Armored Core V is due out March 20th in North America and presumably on March 23rd in Europe, but the European date has yet to be confirmed by Namco Bandai.
