Anonymous on PSN outage: "We didn't do it" |

The infamous hacking group has denied any responsibility on the current state of the PlayStation Network.

Sony's PlayStation Network remains down for the second day running after a sudden outage. So far, the firm has yet to identify the cause of the issue, only saying that they are still investigating the Network outage and it could be another full day or two (from yesterday) before the service is completely back up and running.
In a post over at their official site, Anonymous, the hacking group that previously targeted Sony sites, said they are not behind the PSN shutdown. The post reads...
"Sony's Playstation Network, its online service for Playstation 3 and its Playstation Portable consoles, suffered from a major outage today; which is on going as of this writting. According to Son'ys blog, the interruption in service may last into the long weekend - for at least another "full day or two". Sony released a statement through its EU blog, saying that the network outage may be a result of "targeted behaviour by an outside party", brining in the possibility of cyberattacks. Adding to the confusion is the fact that the message has since been removed.
"While it could be the case that other Anons have acted by themselves AnonOps wa not related to this incident and takes no responsiblity for it. A more likely explination is that Sony is taking advantage of Anonymous' previous ill-will towards the company to distract users from the fact the outage is accutally an internal problem with the companies servers.

Sony suck, so it's likely a fault on their side. If "hackers" did do it, then they're only hurting the customers.
Also, what kind of idiots who call themselves Anonymous run an official site? Not very anonymous.

Break their own network. After they can't figure it out them say might be an attack.
Make customers upset. PSN plus charging. Other OS removal. PS2 compatibility removal. Now PSN Down.
Let's face it ... Anonymous is probably not the problem. Because nobody can cause more problems for sony than sony themselves.
Perhaps you want to blame failoverflow or geohot for causing them problems... Sorry can't really do that since if Sony's PS3 security was really as good as they say it was then it shouldn't of mattered. They caused there own problem on that one too.

A PS Networks goes down, it's Sony fault, a hacker hacked Sony networks it's Sony fault. NO matter where I read this stuff it's always the Sony fault.
Jap companies can do business in America, as long as they don't beat the American company, if they do, WE AMERICAN WILL DESTROY YOU.
Thank you China for kicking Google out of China.

Your gestapo like tactics and dictatorial behaviour speak volumes alone not to mention the fact that you removed “Other Os and BC” proves that your initial intent or lofty goals were never really to create a universal home entertainment system but instead to plant an “ATM” machine strictly for the corporations benefit in every home across the globe, so save your smoke screen as "Sony" is faaarrrrrrr from done suckering the gullible.
That is exactly why everyone should send a great “Big_F***_You” thats easy enough for the japanese to understand simply demanding their “Other Os and BC” along with the ability to play homebrew, install custom packages ect..
then lets all see exactly how much “Sony” truly has the best interests of general consumers at heart.
Release the PUP_pys & “Screw” SONY Today!!
Nuff Said.
