There's a new tutorial video out for Persona 4 Arena that takes the word "tutorial" to a whole new level. It actually begins with "The joystick controls the character!" From there it goes through the basic stuff of how to move forward and back, and how to jump and duck. It's pretty intense.

It finally does get into more in-depth stuff once that little whatever-the-hell-he's-supposed-to-be stops talking and the girl comes on.

A lot of Persona fans are calling this fighting game a cheap cash-in that has nothing to do with the story, but the developers are saying that it does indeed somehow tie into the canon by being set two months after Persona 4. Two months? That's some attention to detail there.

Despite the horrible American voice acting (which is par for the course in anime) this looks like a fun old-school fighting game to me. What do you think?
