Anarchy Reigns Delayed in the West and the Devs Are Pissed |
Listed in: News Tags: anarchy reigns, Platinum Games, Sega

Everybody knows about the troubles that Sega has been having. Well, one of the casualties of all those problems, apparently, is the western release of Anarchy Reigns. Sega announced on Twitter a few days ago that it had been pushed all the way back to Q1 2013. It also had zero representation at E3 this year.
Platinum Games' Atsushi Inaba is not happy about this at all.
"First of all, we are done with all international versions of Anarchy Reigns," Inaba said in a tweet. "The delay is not due to further development on the game. Also, even though the release dates will be different, the content of both the Japanese and Western versions will be 100% the same."
He also went on to say, "Today's Q1 2012 release was the first we'd heard of it. Even if we wanted to, we can't comment as we're (still) in the dark officially."
He then apologized to the fans and promised that Japan would see the game on schedule on July 5th, saying, "I want to sincerely apologize to all the fans worldwide for all the confusion this situation has caused. Even though we are the game's developers, we can only do so much about this."
He closed by saying, "However, we hope you can continue to support Anarchy Reigns and look forward to playing it with us in the future. Thank you."
