Soul Calibur V is the highly anticipated sequel to the all fun, all fighting game series renowned for having great fights and at one point, Star Wars characters. Every game to be sold in retail in the US goes through the ESRB and more often than not they give hilarious results in their reports. I say hilarious because I'm 12 and when people give detailed descriptions of something that is more often than not, immature, I get excited and laugh.
So the ESRB rated Soul Calibur V "T" for Teen for mild language, suggestive themes and violence. The ESRB can't claim it as sexual content even though it is incredibly suggestive, to say the least. The official statement for the game reads that it is a "fighting game" with a "large cast of human and supernatural characters." Players use "guns, swords, spears and other melee weapons" for combat.
Okay, so that's the violence taken care of. But as for the suggestive themes "female fighters wear outfits that reveal large amounts of jiggling cleavage and portions of their buttocks; on the character creation menu, players can augment fighters' breast sizes and manipulate the camera to zoom in on their bodies."
So just like Soul Calibur 4, but apparently with a bit more swearing and no special characters announced yet. It'd be cool to see how customisable the characters can be. If Namco/Bandai releases a demo, it'd be great if it was on par with the Saints Row 3 character customisation demo they released.

You know, for some reason, I thought we as humans had more, actually real things to concern ourselves with than whether or not a drawing has "jiggling cleavage". I'm not entirely sure how fake people in a video game have more alleged influence on young minds than when those same young people go and see the entire "Saw" or "Final Destination" series. Not trying to draw a parallel between horror and cleavage, but if no one bats an eye at fake blood why would they bat an eye at FAKE CLEAVAGE? I mean, really, does the ESRB thing we're so stupid that we might get "turned on" by this? I see more actual cleavage at WalMart.

Totally agrees with you, this new obsession with sexual innuendo being worst then actual killing and blood spilling its behonde ridiculous and sad.

I heard a rap song on the radio yesterday wherein the curse words were bleeped out, but the part about shooting a guy in the head was left in. I don't get it.
